Addie Todd and Lexie Hastava are 5th graders and Junior Girl Scouts working toward their Bronze Award. Inspired by Addie’s own experience with her mom’s cancer diagnosis—and the children’s books that helped her better understand what her mom was going through—she wanted to find a way to expand that same support to other children facing a similar situation.

Together, Addie and Lexie are creating a library of children’s books that help families talk to kids about a loved one’s cancer diagnosis.

We are so excited to work alongside them on this meaningful project and are honored to host this special resource for families undergoing treatment at Mission Cancer + Blood.

If you’re interested in helping build their library, you can support their project by visiting their Amazon Wishlist.
