Addie & Lexie’s Children’s Library
a library to talk About cancer
5th graders and Junior Girl Scouts Addie Todd and Lexie Hastava have completed their Bronze Award by creating a library of children’s books that helps families talk with kids about a loved one’s cancer diagnosis. Inspired by Addie’s experience with her mom’s cancer and the books that helped her understand what her mom was going through, they wanted to provide the same support to other children facing a similar situation.
We are proud to partner with Addie and Lexie on this meaningful project and are honored to host this special resource for families receiving care at Mission Cancer + Blood clinics.
