The Mission Cancer Foundation helps ease the burden of cancer treatment by providing emotional and financial support to brighten the often dark and isolating cancer journey.

WHO WE ARE

The Mission Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to adult patients and their families who are battling cancer.

A cancer diagnosis changes everything. During this tough time, patients need to focus on accessing the highest caliber of care possible to get better, not worrying about having enough food to eat or keeping their lights on.

Everyone deserves hope, support, and the ability to access cutting-edge care.

Our Programs

At the Mission Cancer Foundation, we are committed to easing the emotional and financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. Our programs provide assistance with daily living expenses, transportation, and special initiatives that bring seasonal joy to patients and their families. Every patient also receives a Chemo Care Bag at the start of their treatment; thoughtfully created with helpful resources to guide them on their journey. Each program is designed to meet patients where they are, offering support, comfort, and hope when it’s needed most.

Mission Talks: Beyond the Brochure

While cancer care is often communicated through pamphlets and treatment plans, this symposium is intentionally structured to go beyond the brochure. It creates space for honest, experience-based dialogue led by community professionals who care for patients every day and understand their physical, emotional, and practical needs throughout the course of illness.

Hosted by Dr. Amy Hughes, founder of the Amadora Legacy Project, Mission Talks: Beyond the Brochure is a physician-informed symposium shaped by the questions patients and families often face throughout cancer care. This year’s inaugural series topic, Planning Your Legacy.
