Brightening The Burden Of Cancer
The Mission Cancer Foundation helps ease the burden of cancer treatment by providing emotional and financial support to brighten the often dark and isolating cancer journey.

WHO WE ARE
The Mission Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to adult patients and their families who are battling cancer.
A cancer diagnosis changes everything. During this tough time, patients need to focus on accessing the highest caliber of care possible to get better, not worrying about having enough food to eat or keeping their lights on.
We Believe
We believe that no one should face cancer alone.
Everyone deserves hope, support, and the ability to access cutting-edge care.
At the Mission Cancer Foundation, we are committed to easing the emotional and financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. Our programs provide assistance with daily living expenses, transportation, and special initiatives that bring seasonal joy to patients and their families. Every patient also receives a Chemo Care Bag at the start of their treatment; thoughtfully created with helpful resources to guide them on their journey. Each program is designed to meet patients where they are, offering support, comfort, and hope when it’s needed most.
Our Impact Since 2023
Mission Talks: Beyond the Brochure
Legacy planning is about more than preparing documents. It is an opportunity to reflect, make thoughtful decisions for the future, and help provide clarity and comfort for loved ones.
Join us for Mission Talks: Beyond the Brochure, a free, physician-informed symposium hosted by Dr. Amy Hughes, founder of the Amadora Legacy Project and Mission Cancer Foundation board member. Community professionals and caregivers will offer honest conversation and practical guidance surrounding the emotional, financial, legal, and personal considerations involved in legacy planning.
